Private Observatory, Alabama

This is a new observatory located in central Alabama.

Observatory Solutions managed the procurement and installation of the following:

Ash Dome 14’ 6” with 6′ high Wall Cylinder
PlaneWave CDK500 system; CDK20 (0.51m) telescope with L-500 mount
SBIG AC4040 Ultimate with Back-Illuminated sensor

Observatory Solutions was also responsible for:

Project Management
Product sales and delivery coordination
General observatory design
Building design review
Supervision of dome assembly and installation
Telescope installation and systems integration
